Parasol Driveco

Designed to recharge 8 vehicles, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, PARASOL, the only 100% solar charging station in the world, was born out of the desire to make electric mobility clean and accessible to everyone. The electricity produced by the photovoltaic panels on its roof is stored in its batteries and distributed to all the charging points connected to the DRIVECO Smart Grid. This intelligent energy management system controls the power supplied to vehicles in real time to ensure 100% solar charging. With PARASOLs in service in Bastia and Ajaccio you can run on green energy on the first road of solar mobility in the world.

CONTEXT OF THE PROJECT

Why

Born from the desire to accelerate the energy transition by developing clean and accessible electric mobility, DRIVECO designed and developed a cutting-edge technological innovation: the PARASOL. This 100% solar power charging station is an environmentally friendly solution for all areas.

When

Since 2010 bringing 21 employees on 2 websites ,Corsica and Paris DRIVECO is at the forefront of new technologies in the field of sustainable mobility. CORSICA SOLE has developed DRIVECO as an R&D project in 2010.

Where

Subsidiary Corsica sole, operator and producer of solar energy in Corsica island (France). So far two Parasols are implemented, one in Bastia and another on in Ajaccio.

Developed a preliminary design of the solar EV charging station including the global shape, the photovoltaic system, battery energy storage and EV charging stations,

Supported the delivery of the first solar EV charging stations,
